Dentobd was founded with a clear purpose — to mentor, guide, and support the next generation of dental professionals while strengthening ethical, practical dental practice in Bangladesh.
Behind Dentobd is the vision of a senior dental surgeon who has spent years working closely with dental students, interns, junior dentists, and practicing clinicians, observing a common challenge: a wide gap between academic knowledge and real-life clinical and practice realities.
About the Founder
Dr Abu Saleh Md Samsuzzaman a senior dental surgeon with extensive clinical experience in general dentistry, surgical procedures, and dental practice management.
Over the years, I have worked directly with: – Dental students transitioning from theory to clinics – Interns struggling with clinical confidence – Junior dentists facing real-world complications – General dental practitioners aiming to improve outcomes and grow sustainable practices
These experiences shaped my belief that good dentistry is built through mentorship, ethical practice, and practical exposure — not shortcuts or superficial training.
The Problem Dentobd Addresses
In Bangladesh, many dental graduates leave institutions with strong theoretical foundations but limited exposure to: – Independent clinical decision-making – Managing surgical complications – Patient communication and consent – Dental chamber setup and financial sustainability
As a result, confidence suffers, mistakes increase, and professional growth slows.
